Visit Huntington Beach partnered with Oak House to produce a cultural portrait of surfboard shaper Duke Aipa.

Rather than creating a traditional tourism video, the goal was to tell a story rooted in the culture of the place. By focusing on Duke’s legacy in surfing, and the community around him, the film captures the spirit of Huntington Beach through someone who helps define it.

Produced in collaboration with American Surf Magazine, the project used documentary-style filmmaking to create a story-driven film and social assets.
